Bio
Harold Batista is an artist, filmmaker, and media producer working in New York City. He uses experimental video approaches, complementing personal experience with research, to address the various effects of economic systems on different scales of life. Intergenerational aspects of authority and power are recurrent themes.
He holds a BFA from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and has studied at the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program as a studio and critical studies fellow.
